Prof. Dr. Michael Akbar
THIS IS WHAT I STAND FOR AS A SPINE SPECIALIST IN BERLIN
The spine is – as the name suggests – the supporting pillar of our entire body. If the spine is damaged or diseased, it belongs in the hands of a specialist due to its complexity and importance. And more than that: It belongs in the
Loyalty, empathy, passion, and safety – these are the cornerstones of my work as a spine specialist in Berlin.
I was fascinated by the spine very early on – and it has remained so throughout my life. It gives us an upright posture, stability, and mobility. In other words, the spine makes us human. It is this fascination that makes me a passionate physician and researcher. Because I want to help further advance treatment options: as an experienced spine specialist in Berlin, as a student instructor and knowledge provider at the elite University of Heidelberg, and as a member of the German Spine Society.
Loyalty.
With sincerity and commitment, I am there for my patients and their families as a spine specialist in my clinic in Berlin. In every moment.
Empathy.
I am not concerned with a “case.” I am concerned with the person. In their situation, with their medical history, with their worries, fears, and wishes. Empathy is just as important for successful treatment as medical expertise.
Passion.
The spine is my passion. Enthusiasm, skill, courage, and commitment result from this. Thanks to this combination, you and your back are in the best hands with me.
Safety.
A great deal is at stake when it comes to spinal disorders. Therefore, the safety of my patients is the maxim of my work as a spine specialist in Berlin.
